University of New Mexico men’s basketball video coordinator Ralph Davis has officially been named director of operations for the team, the Lobos announced on Monday morning. He will be replacing Ryan Berryman, whom the school named Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations in May.
Davis is now entering his second season with the Lobos. He was the New Mexico Military Institute Broncos’ head coach before being hired at UNM in August 2018. Prior to that leadership position, Davis served in the assistant/associate coach capacity for the Broncos from 2009 – July 2015.
“Ralph has been terrific since coming on board and I am excited to see him continue to grow here,” said UNM head coach Paul Weir on an official statement. “He has demonstrated to all of us his dedication and expertise which I know will continue in his new role.”
