The University of New Mexico football team announced the addition of Dillon Sanders as an assistant coach on Monday. Sanders was most recently with the University of Kentucky Wildcats for three seasons as football quality control assistant and defensive graduate assistant working with linebackers.

“Dillon is a talented coach who fits in well with our defensive staff,” said New Mexico head coach Bob Davie in a statement. “He has been involved with some great defenses and has experience in the Mountain West. He is a great addition to our staff.”
Prior to his time at Kentucky, Sanders was a defensive graduate assistant with the Utah State Aggies from 2013-15.
