Javonte Johnson commits to New Mexico

Class of 2020 Javonte Johnson announced his commitment to the University of New Mexico Lobos on Thursday afternoon.
The three-star wing received an offer in June and did both official and unofficial visits. His latest trip to Albuquerque was an unofficial visit during the Cherry & Silver event.

While signing day is not until mid-November, the Lobo men’s basketball staff has already gotten three class of 2020 players to announce their commitment to UNM.  The first one was 6’9″ power forward Bayron Matos. Less than 24 hours later, 6’6″ point guard Nolan Dorsey also announced he wanted to join the Lobos.
