New Mexico’s JaQuan Lyle received his second Player of the Week honor from the Mountain West on Monday morning. His first award of the season came on Nov. 18.
This week the award comes after the redshirt senior helped New Mexico begin conference play 2-0 by averaging 22.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

Lyle is not only doing well in the conference, he is also performing well on the national level. He currently ranks:
- 7th in free throws made (53)
- 8th in free throw attempts (70)
- 15th in total minutes (369:41)
- 23rd in total points (195)
