New Mexico guard Emmanuel Kuac is out for the remaining of the season.
The junior broke two bones on his left leg when the Lobos hosted the Utah State Aggies on Saturday night. Kuac had successful surgery on Sunday morning but the rehab process will be long.
He has been in and out of the lineup this season due to other injuries. Kuac played in six games this season, with Saturday being his first time in the starting lineup. He averaged 4.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in those games.
Tough luck for Eman and our team…he worked his butt off this year to return from injuries. Played out of position and never complained. Can’t wait until he’s back on the court and healthy again. https://t.co/ZtjZL1ceMT
