Venue and time TBA
high scoring barnburner so far :), tied at 19 at the half.
For those interested. up to 27 each now
CSU lost to N Ill 88-76. Were outscored 32-16 in the second quarter. Hofschild did not play.
@string-music Clark also didn't play S&M. Hoff had a 'lower body injury'
Bottom line: IMO Lady Lobos host San Fran but was 1529 announced enough to give them a home game over a P5
Washington has jumped out to a 10 point lead. Started hitting shots, USF not so much
Battle of bands:
Wash NET 68 Wins over Stanford, Oregon and at Oregon St. Lost at home to Liberty and to Santa Clara. Lost at Ariz by 7 and beat ASU by 2.
Washington roster. Some of the freshmen have made contributions. Top 20 recruiting class with another top 20 coming in next year. Good length.

Didn't we try to recruit Daniels? Or was that just wishful thinking being posted?
We are in Seattle and will be at the game on Sunday. Team not due in until late tonight. Team that travels is clearly at a disadvantage.
I think Daniels and 6'7 Sela Heide were offered out of high school, both went to Cal. Daniels transferred from Cal to Washington. I don't think there was a high level of interest from them with the PAC offers. I think I saw something somewhere Heide has had injury problems and has seen very little pt, looks like 39 minutes this season. Now their PG and probably best player is transferring with a couple years left to play. 6'4 Claudia Langarita who transferred I think from Arizona, was brought up last year as a player the staff maybe should go after. I think a friend of Paula Reus. She played in 25 of the 30 games averaging about 12 minutes.Didn't we try to recruit Daniels? Or was that just wishful thinking being posted?

You guys are simply the best!!! I'll be looking for you and appreciating your support! Go Lobos!

Claudia transferred from U. of San Fran and put up very big #'s there as a true frosh. This was a player I posted about last spring and I was hoping we could pick her up as our "legit" 5 player. If she is once again in the portal, maybe she wants to play at a school like UNM where she can once again be a FT starter and put up huge stats? If so, Bradbury should be camping out on her doorstep until she says yes.
As a frosh, she shot over 50% from 2 and over 30% from 3, so better than this 5'8" developmental pg they got a commit from. 70% FT shooter, so also solid there. Averaged 10.5 ppg and 3.4 rpg as a true frosh. You would expect in year 3, those #'s would go way up.

As a soph at Cal, She shot 49.4% overall and 33.3% from 3, so a really good % for a 6'4" post player. However, as said above, only limited PT, so averages were only 3.9 ppg and 1.3 rpg.
This is a player I would put at the very top of my list. Still has 2 years of eligibility. Is she in the portal?

You are correct on both statements, yes, we tried to recruit her, but wishful thinking that we would ever land a high quality post recruit under Bradbury.
All the P5s host, look at the brackets. They have a lot more money. Wichita/ KanSt attendance 1977, TA&M Corpus Christi/Wyo attendance 2820. First round. Wyo going to Kansas.Bottom line: IMO Lady Lobos host San Fran but was 1529 announced enough to give them a home game over a P5
If we win this game, I may be able to go to the next one...
It's post time... looks like small crowd at Hec-Ed
